LINET Americas was founded in 2010 as a subsidiary of Czech company LINET, one of the top 5 manufacturers of hospital beds in the world. In 2011 LINET Americas became a part of an international holding company, LINET Group SE based in the Netherlands, founded by LINET and German company WiBo GmbH. The partnership created the largest European company in the production of beds for medical and residential care.

LINET Group’s yearly production reached 66,000 hospital beds with revenues of $126.6 million in the fiscal year 2010-2011. The Group has 800 employees in two manufacturing locations – in Želevčice u Slaného, Czech Republic and Wickede, Germany. Linet Group’s products are exported to more than 100 countries worldwide through several branches in Europe and the United States as well as a network of dealers.

The LINET and WiBo brands concentrate on the two segments favored by the original companies. LINET specializes in the production of hospital beds, while WiBo produces beds for residential and social care. Linet Americas is the operating division of Linet that services the Americas marketplace. The company is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina and provides sales and service to customers across the United States and Canada.
